Now in its 5th year, the 34.3 For The 343 Memorial Run has grown into a powerful day of remembrance, unity, and purpose. Runners, firefighters, families, and supporters from across the region gather to run 34.3 symbolic miles along the beautiful Long Beach boardwalk, across Rockaway Beach, into Brooklyn and Manhattan. In 2024, the event drew over 30 dedicated runners with 50 bike support crew members and 2 FDNY support vehicles. The run has gained regional media coverage, and raised over $150,000 to support firefighter families and inclusive community programs.
